AI can watch and learn
Gemini can generate great videos, but did you know it can watch and learn from them too?
Google Gemini is a powerful AI chatbot that I use for work to help summarise web pages, kick off content outlines or rephrase one liners.
It's commonly known that Veo in Gemini can generate impressive video, with audio, that could be mistaken for the real thing. I think there's great potential for Veo in education and training. However, Gemini can also watch and analyse videos.
As a test, I asked Gemini to watch this video and create some step by step instructions. I then imagined the video was a part of an e-learning module and asked it to draw up a quiz (or knowledge check).

Impressively, the quiz it created not only gave multiple choice questions, but it even gave hints to help learners, not giveaways, actual thinking points. After the quiz, it creates a personalised wrap up and analyses where I need to relearn.
I could give Gemini context of my audience, the level of difficulty and build it all into a Gem for future knowledge checks.
