M&S Walnut Loaf

As a bit of an experiment and to increase my understanding of what makes a good bread, I have decided to study some bought bread.  M&S and Waitrose are the only two supermarkets who offer real bread and so I went to M&S to try out their wares.

M&S Walnut Bread

Wonderful nutty bread and it makes for lovely toast. There’s rye flour in the dough which gives the bread itself a great flavour. It’s a fairly dense crumb and it reminded me a little of my wholemeal effort.
